A new digital identity within the renewable energy industry

Since its founding in 2007, Arise has grown into one of Sweden’s leading independent renewable energy companies. Known for its integrated 360-degree model, Arise manages renewable power projects end-to-end, from early exploration and development through to long-term ownership and operation.

The Challenge

Arise originally built its identity around wind power. However, as the company expanded into solar energy and energy storage, its existing visual identity — anchored by a wind-turbine logo — no longer reflected the breadth or ambition of the business. The brand felt dated and overly narrow, creating a clear need for a refreshed identity and updated digital and print touchpoints that could support future growth.

The Solution

IDX was engaged to create a new brand and website that clearly expressed Arise’s evolving role within the renewable energy landscape. Through collaborative workshops and in-depth audience research, we aligned business strategy with digital goals to define a clear narrative and intuitive user experience.

The redesigned website introduces a streamlined content structure and seamless navigation, ensuring key information is easy to access for diverse stakeholders. Alongside this, IDX developed a flexible brand identity, including a new logo built around an abstract symbol that brings together wind and solar energy — designed to evolve as Arise continues to expand its renewable portfolio.

The result is a cohesive and future-ready system encompassing a new website, logo, and comprehensive visual guidelines, enabling consistent application across digital platforms, print materials, and office environments.

Results

The new brand and website gave Arise a stronger platform to communicate its expanding renewable energy offering, resulting in higher visibility and deeper audience engagement. Since launch, the refreshed digital experience has delivered measurable gains in organic traffic, content consumption, and overall user engagement.
